50 Lawyers You Should Be Following on Twitter

twitter-lawyers

During a recent training session, I shared my private “Law 200” Twitter list that includes lawyers and technologists, marketers, and other professionals in the legal space who consistently post useful information. It’s a list I peruse daily and hone ruthlessly (the reason I keep it private). A participant remarked that it would be useful for lawyers new to twitter. Indeed, one of the challenges for Twitter newbies is figuring out who to follow. Check out how sixteen practicing lawyers use Twitter, then follow these 50 forward-thinking lawyers selected from the “Law 200” Twitter list to keep on top of what’s shaping the legal profession.

Thanks for a wonderful list. I’m at @LFLegal and tweet about legal issues around digital accessibility / usability for everyone — including lawyers, clients and the public. Also tweet about the alternative dispute resolution practice of Structured Negotiations and disability civil rights generally. There’s a vibrant Twitter community interested in accessibility (#a11y) for web, mobile, docs and more — and lawyers should be part of it!

This is a very good list, but far too slanted to lawyers who are more consultants than practioners. I’d love to see you do another list of real live practicing lawyers who tweet about their practice areas, not just law firm management.
